Pre-integrations to Microsoft applications

Pre-integrated plug-ins make it easy to add Microsoft’s business applications in the Vonexus EIC system’s equally pre-integrated IP telephony server for voice and data on a single network. Along with leveraging your existing application investment, Vonexus EIC lets you add Microsoft products at any time: Microsoft Dynamics™ GP (Great Plains®) and Dynamics CRM, Exchange Server and Outlook®, Windows® XP, and products from the Windows Server System™, Office Online and Windows Mobile® lineups.

Leverage VoIP and SIP out of the box

Whether a single location or multiple sites, Vonexus EIC’s open standards approach lets your organization support the Internet Protocol and ease the migration to voice over IP via the SIP communications standard. By fully enabling the EIC software for IP telephony and architecting it both for SIP and Microsoft-centric network management, the Vonexus EIC system gives your enterprise a well-defined migration path to VoIP with:

Connect distributed locations and branch offices via the Vonexus EIC Server at headquarters and your IP-based LAN or WAN, the Interaction SIP Proxy and SIP gateways, and a link to your Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) using a traditional E1/T1 interface. No forklift upgrades are ever required, and the telecom cost savings you realize from LAN/WAN toll by-pass will be well worth the move to Vonexus EIC and IP telephony.

Server-based approach and scalability

Scale from 100 to 1,000 users/ workstations in a single Vonexus EIC Server (or via SIP Interaction Media Server), with available options for additional Vonexus EIC licensing and server upgrades for ports and gateways.

Add functionality by adding applications, not more hardware. If your business doesn’t need Vonexus EIC features like unified messaging and integrated interactive voice response (IVR) up-front, simply add their applications and licensing later as needs dictate. Easily integrated Vonexus EIC add-ons include business workstation licenses, phone-only call center and basic call center workstation licenses, unified messaging (voice mail, e-mail, fax), desktop faxing, and basic as well as advanced Web chat.

The Vonexus EIC Whole Product Model … no assembly required

Get everything in one system including the pre-configured Vonexus EIC Server, SIP Proxy Server, SIP gateways, and the Microsoft® Windows® 2003 operating system on which Vonexus EIC runs.

SIP-standard IP phones from industry leader Polycom® are also included with the Vonexus EIC system. Or simply utilize the soft phone and call controls in Vonexus EIC’s Interaction Client desktop telephony client, including for remote access via EIC’s Mobile Corporate Communications feature set.

Install Vonexus EIC quickly, since on-site installation requires only running the Vonexus EIC Set-up Wizard and configuring stations, lines and users via EIC’s built-in Interaction Administrator® interface.

Get reliable system components from the most recognized, most trusted suppliers in the communications industry, including the pre-integrated Intel or HP ML-series EIC Server, which utilizes the dependable Intel® XeonT processor.

Available Client integrations for Microsoft Applications

Vonexus EIC’s available Interaction Client® brings the Vonexus EIC system’s phone and presence management features directly to the desktop, while the EIC Outlook .NET Edition Telephony Client makes rules-based call handling available in Outlook. Or streamline customer transactions with EIC Clients for Microsoft Dynamics GP and Dynamics CRM, which bring embedded call controls, IVR-based data access and screen pop to each application. An EIC Telephony Client .NET Edition for contact integration and presence applications in Live Communications Server also increases user availability and communication with priority customers.
