Out of the box, the Vonexus Enterprise Interaction Center system provides a complete architecture for SIP with its open standards approach and software components developed to run on the Microsoft® Windows® operating system, including the SIP Telephony Services component.
Unlike many IP PBX systems that require additional hardware for SIP supported voice over IP (VoIP), Vonexus EIC’s Telephony Services software component supports SIP so the Vonexus EIC system can control VoIP calls inherently. More so for voice functions, the Telephony Services component allows Vonexus EIC to work seamlessly both with SIP-supported IP phone devices from Polycom® and other vendors, and with the SIP audio stack in Microsoft Windows XP. Doing so therefore makes it easier for any organization replace traditional PBX phone system hardware with Vonexus EIC’s IP PBX functions and voice capability.
Also integrate the SIP Interaction Media Server and the Interaction SIP Proxy from Vonexus parent company Interactive Intelligence, and Vonexus EIC doesn’t just offer a complete architecture for SIP — it provides a fully-integrated SIP solution for VoIP.
