Policies and Procedures

Eligibility
Education Services training is available for Interactive Intelligence resellers, Partners, and customers, both direct and indirect. Prospective customers must have a signed non-disclosure agreement on file before registering for class.

        Prerequisites

  • If a prerequisite is required for a class, the student must complete those prerequisites before attending the class. Please contact education@inin.com with questions regarding prerequisites.
  • Payment Options

  • Interactive Intelligence accepts payment via Credit Card, Company Check (requires Purchase Order), or Wire Transfer.
  • Registrations

  • To register for a course, visit http://www.inin.com/education/Pages/Class-Schedule.aspx for a current class schedule. Add the course to the cart and complete the Registration Request through the "Checkout" process. Please note that completing the Registration Request form does not guarantee your seat in a course.
  • You are confirmed and registered in the course when you have received an email confirmation. Please do not make travel arrangements until you have received your confirmation.
  • You will receive an email confirmation within 2 business days after your Registration Request has been received if all prerequisites have been met.
  • Training Credits

  • Training Credits purchased expire one year from the date of invoice, if unused. There are no exceptions to this policy. For more information, please email: Education.
  • Waitlists

  • When a student has requested to be wait-listed for a class, students will be automatically enrolled in the course and will receive a confirmation email if a seat becomes available. If the seat becomes available within 10 business days prior to the class start date, the student will be contacted before being enrolled in the class.
  • Exam Retakes

  • Candidates who do not pass an exam must wait at least 14 days before retaking the same exam. Candidates are allowed to take the exam 2 additional times within a 12-month period. The 4th attempt must be at least 12 months from the date of the first attempt. All attempts are subject to the 14 day waiting period. Only one exam per day may be scheduled.
  • All retest exams must be scheduled with the Registrar as least 2 weeks in advance of the desired test. Test date options are subject to availability.
  • If the student cancels or reschedules the retest exam with less than 6 business days notice of the scheduled exam date, customer is responsible for the entire cancelled exam fee. No refund or training credit will be given and the cancelled exam fee WILL NOT be applied to the rescheduled exam.
  • Test-Outs

  • Test-outs are not encouraged. If you choose to attempt to test-out of any class, you must first have written approval of your Regional Support Manager.
  • All test-out exams must be scheduled with the Registrar at least 2 weeks in advance of the desired test. Test date options are subject to availability.
  • If the student cancels or reschedules the test-out exam with less than 6 business days notice of the scheduled date of the exam, customer is responsible for the entire cancelled exam fee. No refund or training credit will be given and the cancelled exam fee WILL NOT be applied to the rescheduled exam.
  • Course Completion Certificate

  • Students must attend at least 80% of a class in order to receive a Course Completion certificate and receive a Completed status in transcripts.
  • Classroom Ethics

  • Students are expected to behave with integrity, honesty and courtesy while in class and throughout their certification process.
  • Cheating will result in failure of the exam and removal of the student from the training facility. Cheating includes unfairly helping others on their exams, as well as, accepting help from others during an exam.
  • If a student behaves in an abusive or rude manner toward the instructor or other students, they will be asked to leave the training facility for the duration of the class.
  • Course fees will be forfeited and readmission to the training facility will be at the discretion of the Director of Education.

Cancellation / Rescheduling Policy - Students

Dedicated Training Facilities and Web-Based Courses

The following guidelines will be applied for students who cancel their enrollment in a training class offered at Interactive Intelligence, Inc. office locations with dedicated training facilities and web-based courses.

  • If the cancellation is received with 6 or more business days notice from the first day of class, customer's invoice will be credited in full.
  • If the cancellation occurs with 0-5 business days notice from the first day of class, customer is responsible for the entire course fee. No refund or training credit will be given.
  • Rescheduling within 0-5 business days from the first day of class is treated the same as a cancellation. If rescheduling to a different class date with 0-5 business days notice from the first day of class, customer is responsible for the entire cancelled course fee. No refund or training credit will be given and the cancelled course fee WILL NOT be applied to the rescheduled course.
  • Other Training Classes

    The following guidelines will be applied for students who cancel their enrollment in training classes offered at a location other than one of our Interactive Intelligence, Inc. office locations with dedicated training facilities.

  • If the cancellation is received with 21 or more business days notice from the first day of class, at a non-dedicated training center, customer's invoice will be credited in full.
  • If the cancellation occurs with 0-20 business days notice from the first day of class, at a non-dedicated training center, customer is responsible for the entire training fee.  No refund or training credit will be given.
  • Rescheduling within 0-20 business days from the first day of class, at a non-dedicated training center, is treated the same as a cancellation. If rescheduling to a different class date with 0-20 business days notice from the first day, at a non-dedicated training center, customer is responsible for the entire cancelled training fee. No refund or training credit will be given and the cancelled training fee WILL NOT be applied to the rescheduled on-site training course.

Cancellation Policy - Interactive Education

Interactive Education makes every attempt to run all scheduled classes. However, in the event that it becomes necessary for Interactive Education to cancel a scheduled class or reschedule a class, we will follow these guidelines:

  • If Interactive Education Services cancels class with greater than 10 business days notice prior to the scheduled class, an email communication will be sent to the student.
  • If Interactive Education Services cancels a class with less than 10 business days notice prior to the scheduled class, a phone call will be made to the student.

In the event of cancellation by Interactive Education, an education credit for the full amount will be applied to the organization's account. The education credit is valid for 12 months and may be used for any education purchase. A refund will be available upon request. Interactive encourages the purchase of refundable airline tickets and is not responsible, in any way, for any costs, including loss of airfare or other transportation costs, hotel expenses or other damages, which the student may incur in the event that Interactive Education cancels or reschedules a class.
